i play a lot of dnd, which is my primary mode of roleplaying. outside of that i mainly do multi-paragraph rp! typically on forums. sometimes in discord.
i am generally down for anything-long form plots or simple one shots-so long as we're on the same page ! communication and consent are key-as well as keeping OOC separate from IC. sensitive topics or other things are fine with prior discussion OOC, depending on what it is.racism, homophobia/transphobia/trans-misogyny et al will not be tolerated. I prefer to hang out/talk with people around my age. I will respect any boundaries set, so please respect mine as well!I always like making new friends-so if you're interested in talking hit me up via dm or in-game :3 i like meeting other lgbt+ people in particular, not just in ffxiv ! thanks for reading <3

Originally born in a border village between the Golmore Jungle and Nagxia, Djole was separated from her birth family in Southern Thanalan after they fled from the garlean invasion to eorzea. Declared lost to Ifrit by the Brass Blades and Flaming Fist when her mother sought help locating her, Djole was left at the mercy of the desert. She might have died were it not for the intervention of a pair of retired Ala Mhigan soldiers named Betyn and Emir Swiftstrike, who happened upon her by chance while hunting. the pair of men had previously lost a daughter to the Garleans, and were more than willing to take another in. The three of them settled in Little Ala Mhigo.Betyn was formerly an adherent of the Temple of the Fist, and he imparted some of the teachings upon Djole to give her means to defend herself. At the age of seventeen summers Djole struck out from Little Ala Mhigo with the goal of earning Gil as a mercenary, hoping to send it back home to her fathers in order to enable them to live a comfortable life. Over the last several years, she's earned a reputation as reliable wandering mercenary.
this reputation would carry her far in the realm of ul'dah's wealthy elite, among whom she found ample work guarding caravans and warding young heirs against muggings and other attempts on their safety. for a while work was good enough that djole even had a bit of money for herself after the sums she sent home to her fathers-but her luck would eventually run dry.djole ran afoul of a number of ul'dah's elite after a fight broke out in the quicksands on one of her nights off-as one of the only people involved not of significant wealth or social standing, djole quickly found that her position in ul'dah had become precarious.

with little options available to her in ul'dah, djole sought other options-and found them in the form of arrangements and deals made for passage far to the north. while inhospitable, ishgard would serve as the perfect locale to lay low and wait for an opportunity to return home. the arrangement would only last for a year at most, in djole's mind.well into her second year living in ishgard now, the illusion of a brief sojourn has dissipated from her mind. social missteps and a blunt nature continue to mark her as a regular fish out of water among the residents of the holy see, and a perpetual cycle of accruing debts and taking on jobs for both small favors and modest sums of gil to send home means she simply keeps putting off leaving.while most of her work is done for those in the pillars, djole is more comfortable in the brume. much of her free time is spent in the lower wards of the city, relaxing or seeking out odd jobs to do for the smallfolk. djole might not ever admit to it, but she has grown begrudgingly fond of ishgard, for all its flaws and blemishes.
SWORDHAND OF SOME REPUTE.
• While not quite as well known in Ishgard as in other locales for mercenary work, for the two years that she's been operating within the country Djole has made something of a name for herself in providing reliable, skilled services as a blade-for-hire to those in need of them. Most of the work she pursues is for gil to send home to her fathers, or to repay favors owed.FISH OUT OF WATER.
• Djole is deeply out of her element in Ishgard. Her ability to navigate the social circles of both the city and its surrounding territories is extremely limited, not just by a lack of familiarity but by her own blunt nature.
IDLE HANDS.
• Djole spends most of her limited free time in the Brume, finding the lower wards of the city more comfortable and familiar than the homes of the wealth and nobility she seeks employment from. Perpetually in need of something to occupy her time (even when trying to relax), she often seeks out repair-work or odd jobs in need of doing.
